KIEV, Aug. 19 - The proportion of foreign capital in the combined charter capital of Ukrainian banks shrank to 37.2% at the end of July 2008 from 40.5% at the end of June, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

The combined charter capital of Ukrainian banks increased by 8.9%, or by UAH 4.731 billion, to UAH 57.971 billion in July and by 35.2%, or UAH 15.098 billion, since the start of 2008.
