KIEV, Aug. 14 – The United States Department of Agriculture has forecast that the grain harvest in Ukraine in 2008 will be almost 45.5 million tons, which is 2.8 million tons higher than the previous forecast it made a month ago.

The U.S. analysts increased their forecast for the wheat harvest from 21 million tons to 22 million tons, and the feed grain forecast rose from 21.67 million tons to 23.48 million tons.
