KIEV, Aug. 13 – The non-consolidated net profit of national Naftogaz Ukrayiny from January through June soared 8.9 times, or by UAH 2.369 billion year-over-year, to UAH 2.670 billion according to Ukrainian accounting standards.

These figures were given in Naftogaz's financial report for the first half of 2008, which was published by the company on Tuesday evening.
