KIEV, Aug. 12 – The cost of obtaining foreign loans for Ukrainian banks will remain high until the end of 2008 against the backdrop of reduced investor activity, says Denys Horbunenko, the governor of Rodovid Bank's board.
"Today, all the banks are reviewing their strategies for corporate and retail clients, as it has become clear that the situation on the foreign markets does not allow banks to raise as many resources as was planned last year," the bank's press release quotes Horbunenko as saying.
