KIEV, Aug. 11 – The negative balance of Ukraine's foreign trade in commodities in January-June 2008 was $9.845 billion, which was 2.36 times up year-on-year ($4.171 billion), according to the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, commodity exports over the six months grew by 40.7% year-on-year, to $32.542 billion, and commodity imports by 1.6 times, to $42.387 million.
