KIEV, Aug. 8 – Ukrainian banks' net profit January through July amounted to UAH6.2 billion, 63% over the same period last year (UAH3.8 billion), the National Bank of Ukraine said.

The banks' aggregate net profit in July alone was UAH900 million (in July 2007 it was UAH700 million), whereas it was UAH1 billion in June, UAH400 million in May and UAH1 billion in.
