KIEV, Aug. 8 – State enterprise Olympysky sports complex has signed an agreement on the renovation of its stadium with German architectural bureau GMP von Gerkan, Marg und Partner, Minister for Family Affairs, Youth and Sports Yuriy Pavlenko said in Beijing prior to the start of the Olympic Games in China.

The German company was the developer of the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.

The agreement foresees three phases of construction. The first is the presentation of the concept of the project (within 60 days), the second is the draft project which should be submitted within 180 days (construction work will simultaneously get under way), and the third is the working documentation (with simultaneous support of construction until 2012).
