KIEV, Aug. 11 – Private foreign capital may possibly be needed to restructure Ukraine’s aircraft building companies, said Industry Minister Volodymyr Novytsky.
He said the ministry plans to create by the end of the current year some voluntary aerospace amalgamations, including an aircraft building one and an aircraft engine construction one.
"After we manage to renew work at [aircraft factories in Kiev and Kharkiv] with allocated investment funds this year, see them work next year, and simultaneously form the legislative base, we'll start tackling the issue of corporatization of those enterprises with the further creation of state joint-stock companies," he said.
