KIEV, Aug. 5 - Total Ukrainian electricity output in January-July 2008 came to 115.064 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 2.5% from the same period in 2007, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.
Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) in the seven months reduced electricity output 2.3% while thermal power plants (TPP) increased production by 6.4%. Production at hydroelectric power plants (HPP) went up 14.6% while municipal heat power plants and isolated generating stations increased output 2.8%.
