KIEV, Aug. 4 - Ukraine is returning to Swiss-registered company RosUkrEnergo an equivalent of the amount of Russian gas consumed in Ukraine in winter 2007/2008, the Ukrainian fuel and energy minister said.

Russian gas monopoly Gazprom resells gas it obtains from Central Asia to Ukraine via RosUkrEnergo, which is the exclusive gas exporter to Ukraine and charges $179.5 per 1,000 cubic meters on the Ukrainian border.
