KIEV, Aug. 1 - EnergoAtom, the state-owned operator of all four Ukrainian nuclear power plants, by the end of August is to select the supplier of reactor facilities for reactor three and four of Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant at a tender, according to EnergoAtom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky.

"We plan to finish the selection [of the supplier] by the end of August and this year to start work for the preparatory period, which precedes the active phase of construction, which unfortunately now can start only no earlier 2010-2011. In 2008, we will start to draw up a feasibility study," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.
