KIEV, Aug. 1 – Russia could take part in a project to set up a nuclear fuel production plant in Ukraine to supply fuel to Ukrainian nuclear power plants, according to EnergoAtom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky.
"Russia agreed to jointly study the possibility of building a nuclear fuel production plant in Ukraine. We agreed that we'd do this work transparently. We're drawing up a feasibility study, and will build the plant, and they will take part in the process, and give remarks and proposals on their possible participation in the project," he said.
