KIEV, July 18 – France's Rasec Group, one of Europe's largest trade and office equipment producers, will launch its own production operation at the premises of the bankrupt Cherkasy Khimvolokno, according to the Cherkasy regional state administration.

The start of production is scheduled for early 2009, Rasec Group President Patrick Gentil said while visiting Cherkasy region recently.

According to Cherkasy administration, The French group acquired 1,200 square meters of the plant's production premises, which are now being repaired and equipped.
