KIEV, July 16 – Ukraine’s stock market, which on Tuesday dropped sharply, continued falling at the same pace on Wednesday: its major indicator – the PFTS index – plunged by 4.98%, or by 31.98 points, to 610.2 points, which corresponds to the level registered early in February 2007.
According to the PFTS, bid prices fell by 12.2% on average, while ask prices slid by 7.8%. At the same time, trading activity was higher than the day before – 545 deals were struck to the tune of UAH78.5 million.
