KIEV, July 15 – The Ukrainian stock market on Tuesday dropped sharply, with its major indicator – the PFTS index – plunging by 5.15%, or 43.83 points, to 642.18 points.
The steepest decline was registered in the prices of stocks of Zaporizhtransformator (24.2%), Dniprooblenergo (23.6%), Kharkivoblenergo (23.3%), Sevastopolgaz (14.3%), Dnipropetrovsk-based Petrovsky steel plant (11.7%), Mariupol-based Illich steel mill (11.3%), and Zaporizhstal (11.1%).
