WARSAW, July 14 – The governments of Ukraine and Poland have agreed on urgent tasks in their joint preparations for hosting the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, and have declared that the finals will be successfully hosted.
"It should be said unambiguously that there might be places in Europe [in which somebody] wants to see our failure. The major response to this is solid, clear and effective joint work on the implementation of this project," Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in Warsaw on Monday following the first meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish intergovernmental committee on preparing for and hosting the Euro 2012 finals.
