KIEV, July 14 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture has forecast that 42.67 million tons of grain will be harvested in Ukraine in 2008, which is 500,000 tons less than its forecast a month ago.

According to the USDA, U.S. analysts cut their estimates for the maize crop from 10 million tons to 9.5 million tons.
