KIEV, July 8 – The Ukrainian government has proposed to increase spending on the preparation of roads for the European Football Championship in 2012 by UAH700 million.

The funding proposals are stipulated in draft amendments to the law on the 2008 national budget, which was drawn up by the government and registered in the parliament on July 7.
