KIEV, July 3 – The gross international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine in June grew by 2.98%, or $1.026 billion, to $35.439 billion, whereas in May 2008 they expanded by 3.2%, or $1.075 billion, the NBU said.
Since the start of the year, the NBU's forex reserves have increased by 9.2%, or $2.977 billion, from $32.462 billion, reads the statement.
As was reported, in 2007, the NBU boosted its forex reserves by 45.9%, or $10.21 billion.
