SUDAK, June 25 – The State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) plans to borrow over $750 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the electrification and construction of a second track on the Dolynska-Kherson-Mykolaiv-Dzhankoi lines.
"Soon we'll submit documents to the Economy Ministry to initiate a large project worth over $750 million with the International Bank for the Reconstruction and Development. This concerns the electrification and construction of second tracks on the Dolynska-Kherson-Mykolaiv-Dzhankoi sections," the head of the chief department for development and technical policy at Ukrzaliznytsia, Arlikin Zubko, said at the third international scientific and research conference entitled Problems of Economy and Management of Railway Transport in Sudak on Tuesday.
