KIEV, June 24 - Lithuania's Mazeikiu nafta plans in 2008 to increase fuel supplies by 40% against 2007, to 360,000 tons, said Ihor Maistrenko, head of the company's representative office in Ukraine.
"Initially, we had a forecast of around 300,000-310,000 tons, but I think that it will be increased by around 360,000 tons. Demand is growing and fuel supplies could be boosted," he said.
Maistrenko said that in January to May, fuel supplies to Ukraine grew by 15% year-over-year, to 200,000 tons.
