KIEV, June 16 – The Association of Farmers and Private Landowners is to go on a nationwide strike in the latter half of June in order to draw the authorities' attention to their problems: the lack of financing, vulnerability because of the expansion of large capital and big agri-businesses.
"The Association of Farmers and Private Landowners (AFPL) has decided to go on a nationwide strike in the second part of June and this is a preventive measure," AFPL President Ivan Tomych said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.
