KIEV, June 10 – Gazprom could raise prices for natural gas for Ukraine from 2009 to European levels if new principles of price formation that factor in Central Asian gas prices are used, an analyst said.

Volodymyr Omelchenko, an energy sector analyst ay the Razumkov Center, says the chance that Ukraine will be forced to buy gas at much higher, European prices is 60%.
