KIEV, June 10 – The shortage of housing in Kiev at present is around 17 million square meters, the board chairman of Kiev-based XXI Century developing company, Lev Partskhaladze, said.
"According to our calculations, for example, in Kiev, there is a shortage of around 17 million square meters, not taking into account future migration, and solvent demand is around 8.4 million square meters of space," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
Partskhaladze said that today, around 30% of old houses should be dismantled in Kiev.
