KIEV, June 4 - Ukraine is ready for the practical implementation of the "roadmap" signed during a recent visit to Ukraine by U.S. President George Bush, including in the sphere of trade-economic and investment cooperation, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said during a meeting with U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez in Kiev on Wednesday.
Yushchenko said the trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S. in 2007 was characterized by "record figures in the history of bilateral relations" as the trade in goods and services reached a level of $3.3 billion. The tendency for growth continues this year, the president said.
