KIEV, June 2 – The National Bank of Ukraine forecasts that in 2008 the deficit of the current account of Ukraine's balance of payments will grow to $10.7 billion, while in 2007 it nearly quadrupled, to $5.9 billion, according to Volodymyr Stelmakh, head of the NBU.
He said that it is expected that the consolidated balance of payments would have a surplus due to the considerably surplus of the financial account.
