BRUSSELS, May 28 – The European Commission is satisfied with the actions of the Ukrainian government aimed at continuing the growth of the country's GDP and reducing inflation.

The position was given by EU Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Joaquin Almunia and European Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson during a meeting with Ukrainian Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn in Brussels on Tuesday.

Danylyshyn said that the European Commission is monitoring the development of the economic situation in Ukraine.
