KIEV, May 27 – The losses of the population from the strengthening of the hryvnia will be around $1 billion, according to Anatoliy Halchynsky, professor of the National Institute for Strategic Studies.
"This concerns the devaluation of the assets of individuals, which are around $22-24 billion. Taking into account a 4% revaluation, the losses of the public alone would be around $1 billion," he said in an interview with the Dzerkalo Tyzhdnia newspaper published last week.
