KIEV, May 27 - France's Citroen is considering Ukraine as a potential country for the construction of a plant that will produce car engines, Olivier Tassi, Citroen's regional manager for Eastern Europe, told Interfax.
The company is currently searching for a country to build the plant, which is slated to open in 2012, he said.
"We are actually considering three countries - Poland, Turkey and Ukraine – as sites for the construction of such a plant and are currently searching for the most advantageous location and calculating the various options," he said, adding that a final decision on the location of the plant will be made before the end of 2008.
