KIEV, May 21 - Karpatnaftokhim Ltd. of Ivano-Frankivsk region announced plans to stop production in the near future for two-and-a-half months due to high prices of fuel – its core raw material.

"Now is a time when it's economically profitable for our facilities not to operate, and people receive wages foreseen in collective agreements," said Director General Serhiy Chmykhalov.
