KIEV, May 20 – The construction of a new oil refinery in Ukraine is not in line with the interest of the sector, according to Volodymyr Trotsenko, deputy chairman of Ukrnafta, the largest oil extracting company in Ukraine, the management of which is linked to the co-owners of PrivatBank.
"We have enough facilities to provide both Ukrainian consumers and exporters with fuel, while today someone is trying to put this idea into the heads of the cabinet and parliament leadership," he said in Kiev at a roundtable on prospects for development of oil refining sector in Ukraine.
