KIEV, May 15 - UkrGazVydobuvannia, Ukraine's major gas extraction company, boosted natural gas extraction by 0.8% in January to April 2008 year-on-year, to 5.017 billion cubic meters, the press service of Ukrgazvydobuvannia reported on Wednesday.

The press service said that gas condensate extraction over the four months was 239,600 tons, a 1.5% or 3,500 tons more year-over-year, while oil extraction was 6% more than the target, to 39,400 tons. Ukrgazvydobuvannia did not disclose the changes in oil extraction compared to the previous year.
