KIEV, May 15 – Russia will raise the price of natural gas for Ukraine in the second half of 2008, Volodymyr Lanovy, an economist and a former advisor to President Viktor Yushchenko.

"Unfortunately, in the second half of this year, the price of gas will considerably grow. Turkmenistan and other countries will increase the price of the gas they sell to Russia, in H2. So the prices for us will grow too," he said Wednesday.
