KIEV, May 13 - As a result of the actions of the Cabinet, the price of natural gas for most end users in Ukraine's industry and comparable consumers will rise to UAH1,476.71 for 1,000 cubic meters as of June 1, clearing the psychological barrier of $300 for 1,000 cubic meters.

The main reasons for the hike are the increase in the special markup to the gas price, the size of which is set by the Cabinet, as well as the Cabinet's decision to add the expenses of Naftogaz Ukrayiny related to gas sales to the price.
