KIEV, May 12 - Ukrainian banks' saw a net profit of UAH3.9 billion in January to April, 70% more than during the same period last year, the National Bank of Ukraine reported on Monday.

According to the report, the total net profit of the banks in April was UAH1 billion, while in April 2007 it was UAH400 million, and in March and February 2008 it was UAH800 million and in January 2008 – UAH1.3 billion.
