KIEV, May 5 - BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Ltd., which manages assets worth over $1.3 trillion, has increased its stake in oil and gas producing company Regal Petroleum Plc, which holds holding key assets in Ukraine, to 11.14% from 10.23%.

As Regal Petroleum Plc said on its Web site, the company "was notified on April 24, 2008 by BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited that it has an interest in 22,467,396 of the company's ordinary 5 pence shares representing 11.14% of the issued ordinary share capital of the company."
