KIEV, April 28 – The hryvnia should be unpegged from the dollar to liquidate imports of inflation to Ukraine due to the fall in the dollar against key international currencies, according to Anders Aslund, economist, professor and senior fellow of Peterson International Institute.
"In March, you have 26% inflation to March 2007. I think that the origin of such a high level is the binding of the hryvnia to the dollar," he said.
