KIEV, April 18 - Russia’s oil major Lukoil restarted its Lukoil-Odessa Ukrainian oil refinery after three years of major overhaul, company officials said Friday.

President Viktor Yushchenko, who attended the ceremony of launching the refinery in operation, described the project as "extremely important" for the economy in the Odessa region, and in Ukraine.
