KIEV, April 14 – President Viktor Yushchenko said that the reason for inflation in the Ukrainian economy is the absence of structural economic reforms.

"The response to the question of why these processes are seen in Ukraine, is that there have been no structural reforms in Ukraine. The global answer on how to fight inflation is carrying out effective economic reforms, starting from the municipal and housing sector, and especially from the agricultural sector," he said in an interview with the ICTV television channel on Sunday night.
