KIEV, April 14 – Ukraine will be about 2.5 million tons short of cement this year, while in 2007 the figure was 2 million tons, Ukrcement CEO Petro Lopatiev said.
He said that the shortage of high-quality cement would be felt more acutely in the summer.
The chairman of Bakhchysarai Budindustria in Crimea, Artem Lukianets, said the price of cement would grow this year, but that there wouldn't be sharp price hikes.
