KIEV, April 11 – The Ukrainian oil refining sector is in crisis following a jump in consumption of imported fuel in the country, according to the president of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE), Anatoliy Kinakh.
"In Q1, 2008, the situation showed threatening crisis signs. The loading of oil refineries in Ukraine is 14% of their capacities, and their capacities are around 40 million tons per year," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
