ZAPORIZHIA, April 10 – Zaporizhstal Steel Mill has signed a contract on the supply of equipment for converter steel production with Austria's Siemens-VAI, the mill told Interfax-Ukraine.

The mill said that the new workshop would be located near the rolling workshops. The workshop would unite two cast iron sulfur removing plants, two convertors of 250 tons each with combined refining, two furnace- casting ladle plants and a vacuumizing ladle.
