KIEV, April 10 – The signing of an agreement on a free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union would be another important step on the way of European integration, Former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski said.

"I think that the agreement on a free trade zone for Ukraine is an important step forward to becoming European Union member in a short term," Kwasniewski said in an interview with the press in Kiev.
