KIEV, April 10 - Ukraine reduced electricity exports 40.8% to 1.734 billion kilowatt hours in the first quarter of 2008 compared to the same period of 2007, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.

Ukraine did not provide commercial supplies of electricity to Russia, Belarus or Poland in the first quarter and this led to a significant reduction in export volumes, the ministry said.
