KIEV, April 8 – The natural gas reserves in underground storage in Ukraine in January-March fell by 36% (by 8.488 billion cubic meters), to 15.062 billion cubic meters, according to Fuel and Energy Ministry.
Gas extraction from the storage facilities exploited by Ukrtransgaz over the three months was 8.276 billion cubic meters, including stocks belonging to the national JSC Naftogaz Ukrayiny of 3.263 billion cubic meters, RosUkrEnergo AG (Switzerland) 1.873 billion cubic meters, CJSC UkrGaz-Energo 1.679 billion cubic meters, and other companies - 1.461 billion cubic meters.
