KIEV, April 3 – Around UAH500 million ($99 million) will be allocated from the Kiev city budget as social payments to over 600,000 less well off Kiev residents affected by a suspension of national benefits.

Deputy Kiev Mayor Irena Kilchytska said on Thursday that payments would be given in two stages – by April 7 and April 27. Every citizen will receive a one-time payment of UAH75 to UAH150. The total sum of the one-time payments will amount to UAH250 million.
