KIEV, April 2 - Arcelor Mittal Kryviy Rih, Ukraine's biggest steel producer, reduced roll production 2.8% year-on-year to 1.76 million metric tons in January-March, the Industrial Policy Ministry reported.

Crude steel production fell 5% to 1.961 million tons, pig iron - 5.3% to 1.75 million tons and sinter - 8.1% to 2.816 million tons in the quarter.

The plant produced 604,000 tons of roll, 698,000 tons of steel, 625,000 tons of pig iron and 997,000 tons of sinter in March.
