KIEV, April 3 – Ukraine's Coal Ministry on Wednesday published a draft plan on the reform of the country's coal industry to collect proposals and remarks on the document, which is to be approved by the cabinet before coming into effect.

The ministry said that the state should deploy and accelerate the privatization of coal companies to develop the sector, improve mechanisms for state subsidies and the functioning of the coal market and increase the “prestige value” of miners' labor.
