KIEV, March 31 – The Antimonopoly Committee has permitted Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo to sign an agreement with the owners of Kiev-based Pravex Bank if two-year restrictions are imposed on the activities of companies linked with the owners of the Ukrainian credit and financial institutions.
"[The committee] permitted the signing of an agreement... if they agree to oblige economic entities, who are controlled by them, not to run commercial or other activities on the banking service markets for two years from the moment of signing the agreement, apart from on the regional markets of receiving payments for municipal services from the public," reads the committee report.
