KIEV, March 19 – Ukraine is to introduce sunflower oil and seed export quotas of 300,000 tons and 1,000 tons, respectively, from March 22 through July 1, 2008.
The eight-member commission in charge of these quotas is headed by First Deputy Economy Minister Serhiy Romaniuk, and his deputy is Deputy Agriculture Minister Ivan Demchak. The commission also includes representatives of the interior, finance, and justice ministries, the heads of the audit department and the State Customs Service, and the director general of the Ukroliyaprom Association, Stepan Kapshuk.
